Vitality Detox Retreats
Improve your health - Lose Weight - Rejuvanate you body

7 Day Retreats

This will be held at Iona Beach House in East Wittering.

Iona Beach House is a beautiful home found in the centre of the village, only about 100 yards from the stunning award-winning beaches of East & West Wittering. This venue is superb for walking, either along the beach itself or along the Chichester harbour estuary, with stunning views of the South Downs in the distance.

The 7 day retreat is a much deeper tissue cleanse, and to promote this we use various supplements and herbs and a full colon cleanse programme, as well as the juices, yoga and meditation etc.

Herbs and Supplements

Bentonite Clay: Bentonite acts like a sponge or magnet and absorbs 40 times or more its weight in toxins and heavy metals.

Psyllium Husk: Psyllium is an effective type of fibre that swells when mixed with liquid into a mass of soft jelly-like substance. It acts like a broom, sweeping clean any loosened substances from the walls of the digestive tract. It also gives bulk and aids in expelling faeces.

Herbal Detox Supplements: These contain a cocktail of herbs that work very effectively at dissolving and breaking up the mucoid matter that lines the walls of the digestive tract, and then helping to expel it. They reduce gas in the stomach and intestines, purify the blood and stimulate and strengthen the liver and eliminative organs. They also strengthen, heal and re-build the peristaltic action of the colon and digestive system.

Nutritional Supplements: to support your liver and other organs during the detox process.

Treatments

During the week there a number of treatments you will receive included in the price. These treatments are:

Skin brushing, hydrotherapy and zapping for parasites are also suggested to support the detoxification process.

Other treatments available at an extra cost include:

These treatments are booked and paid for once you are at the retreat.

Colon Cleanse

As your cells start to release toxins, some from deep within the tissues, they will be transported via the lymphatic system to an organ of elimination. It is very important that your body is able to remove the toxins effectively at this stage, otherwise you will simply re-absorb them back into your blood, which after all of your hard work you really don't want.

This is why the colon cleanse is such an important part of the programme, and by doing a cleanse on a daily basis, it helps to eliminate the possibility of a healing crisis that can occur when detoxing. Cleansing the colon also helps to remove the mucoid plaque that lines the walls of the digestive tract. When mucoid plaque is removed, the body is then able to absorb all of the good nutrients found in food, thus increasing your health and vitality.

As well as the colonic hydrotherapy session you will be receiving, we also use either the Clysmatic (a type of self-service colonic) or an enema. These treatments are done in the privacy of your own bathroom on a daily basis.

Arrivals and Departures

The 7 day retreat normally starts with your arrival at 3.30pm, in time for the afternoon juice, and finishes on the final morning, after you have been re-introduced back to food at break-fast time.
